+ Erectile Dysfunction

What is ED?

Erectile dysfunction is the difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection. It is common in all age groups, and becomes more common with age. In the 40-70 year old age group, over 50% of men will have some degree of erectile dysfunction.
Erectile dysfunction can occur due to physical, medicine-related, or psychological causes.

How we can help

If you suffer from erectile dysfunction, we can order blood and urine tests to identify any medical causes (some of which are very important in and of themselves to identify and treat, such as diabetes.) We may also be able to prescribe medication which can help prolong an erection, or refer you to psychological resources.

+ Premature Ejaculation

What is premature ejaculation?

Premature Ejaculation occurs when a man orgasms very quickly after beginning intercourse (within a few minutes). It is a very common problem, affecting 20-30% of men. It may be lifelong or have started later in life. Premature ejaculation may be due to either physical or psychological factors.

How we can help

If you suffer from premature ejaculation, we may be able to offer medicine and/or psychological support.

+ Hair Loss

What is hair loss?

Male pattern baldness is common and usually genetic. It is most common in Caucasians (80% of white men will lose hair over the age of 70.)

How we can help

If you suffer from hair loss, we may be able to prescribe medication (applied to the scalp or taken orally) which can stop hair loss, or in some cases, restore new growth. These medications are more effective in preventing hair loss than growing new hair, so we advise that you begin them sooner rather than later.
