Hay Fever

What is it?

Hayfever, or allergic rhinitis, is characterised by a blocked nose, sneezing that usually lasts longer than one hour per day for more than two weeks, itching of the nose or eyes, watery eyes, fatigue, headache, feeling unwell, and sometimes wheezing or shortness of breath.  It is caused by grass or tree pollen allergens which cause symptoms at the same time each year.
